BEHIND THE SCENES @ JONNY DRAPER’S: OWEN HOUSE WEDDING BARN CREATIVE WORKSHOP
This workshop is exactly why I decided to get mentored by Jonny Draper Photography Training (and why they always SELL OUT) and why I’ve done so much training with him!!!
You learn tonnes and you can’t help but walk away feeling excited and ready to smash your next wedding (in a good way!)
It was at the Owen House Wedding Barn which is like the best classroom ever ( such…a….cool….wedding….venue…..check them out if you haven’t already it will blow your mind)
I was helping out and shooting some behind the scenes so I just looked at every thing totally differently and wasn’t worried about getting ‘my shots’ of the bride and groom.
The beautiful Fiona Walton was modelling as the bride and her husband Andy Walton as the groom. Fiona is wearing an Enzoani dress from Emma Draper’s bridal shop Love Bridal Boutique and Andy is dressed in Whitfield & Ward who make bespoke suits. The very talented Sarah Meredith Make-up & Hair Styling did Fionas hair and make up and it was lovely to actually meet her as I’ve seen loads of her work on facebook. It was such a laugh ‘backstage’ really fun and a great atmosphere.
That rather spectacular bouquet and Andy’s button hole is by Red floral architecture, floral genius and botanical master who also dressed….yes that magnificent corridor with all the spectacular tress and candles… it was on fire (private joke)
There was some very cool lighting by Luminate Events and I can honestly say I’ve never seen any thing like it! So the photos with the light around Fiona and Andy at the end…And there were just some crazy cool lights (pink neon) byLove Lights The Wayy….They looked incredible! There was just so much!!
It was awesome seeing how well Jonny gets on with all the suppliers who he works with on these workshops. They’re all really good mates and have such a good time together as you can see from the photos!
The venue, dress, bouquet, suit, lighting, flowers… seriously this must have cost more than my own wedding so it’s just amazing to even get the opportunity to shoot this.
It’s a really good way to meet other photographers too and I’ve made tonnes of tog pals through Jonny’s workshops over the last year!!
I definitely love Off Camera Flash and Video light and can’t wait to see what Jonny has in store on his next workshop!!! xxxxx
